In an effort to create American jobs, spur the economy, and lead America to a greener future, both the Federal Government and the Pennsylvania Government have passed legislation to help offset the costs of solar systems.
With these new Tax Incentives in place, investing in solar energy is now not only environmentally responsible, but also financially lucrative.
PA Sunshine Solar Program
Qualified PV Systems will receive a REBATE CHECK from the State of PA. This amount is valued at up to 35% of the PV system and will be received within 3 months of the final installation. All systems are pre-approved for the rebate before installation.
Requirements:
>> System must be greater than 2 kW
>> System most be installed on owner's primary residence
>> Owner must be a resident of Pennsylvania
Energy Star Solar Energy Tax Credit
Customers are also eligible for a 30% Federal Tax Credit of the TOTAL SYSTEM COST. This credit can be split into 2 years.
>> Existing homes & new construction qualify. Both principal
residences and second homes qualify. Rentals do not qualify
>> Photovoltaic systems must provide electricity for the
residence, and must meet applicable fire and electrical code
requirement.
We are installing alternative energy facilities on our customer's homes. These electrical generation facilities will give the customer monetary returns in two ways.
1 - Electricity produced is used in the customer's home. Extra electricity is sold back to the customer's electricity provider. If the system is big enough, this can result in a net zero electricity bill at the end of the month.

2 - For every 1000 KWh produced, the customer will receive an Alternative Energy Credit (AEC). These credits are then sold back to Electric Distribution Companies and Electric Generation Suppliers so that they can comply with the Pennsylvania AEPS Alternative Energy Program.

We will come to your home and give you a general project layout and price range.
We will do a full site analysis.
The Analysis includes the following:
>> Roof Layout Survey
>> Shading Analysis
>> Electrical load and production calculations
>> System sizing
>> Manufacturer approved system layout and equipment selection
>> Complete Project price
After you accept the price, we begin the initial paper work for the system. Before we order any equipment, the system will be pre-approved through the state rebate program.
After approval from the state, we will proceed with ordering equipment and installing the system.
This is a new field for Rossi Construction, but we are excited and ready to install Solar Systems on your home or business.
